The eight participating artists work across sculpture, painting, photography, video and installation, united by a shared exploration of proximity and distance, body and landscape, materiality and perception. Under the title THE HUMAN CACTUS, the exhibition reflects on the contradictions of contemporary life — between intimacy and isolation, fragility and resilience, nature and architecture.

Spread across the three floors of Curuna Ardez, the exhibition brings together local and international artistic positions that engage with the relationship between humans, their environment, and the body. Through humor, poetry and confrontation, the works invite visitors to question perception, vulnerability and transformation.

From Willy Spiller’s mystical moonlit landscapes and Seraina Feuerstein’s expressive Wallflowers, to Erwin Wurm’s iconic sculptural interventions, Mayo Bucher’s hybrid figures, Badel & Sarbach’s monumental installations, Nezaket Ekici’s performances, and Madlaina Lys’ delicate ceramic environments — each work offers a distinct perspective while contributing to a coherent dialogue. Together, these artistic voices create an exhibition that challenges conventions and invites visitors to experience the many dimensions of what it means to be human.
